Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Aight iOS application ("the App," "Aight") published by Pangea Roads LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Aight, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What Aight Is (and Isn't)

Aight is a client application — a native iOS interface that connects to your self-hosted OpenClaw (or compatible) AI assistant instance. Aight is comparable to a web browser: we provide the client software; you provide and control the server, the AI models, and the infrastructure it runs on.

Aight displays content generated by AI models running on your infrastructure, using your chosen model providers and configurations. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for:

AI-generated content is not a substitute for professional advice. Do not rely on AI outputs for medical, legal, financial, or other professional decisions without independent verification from qualified professionals.

You acknowledge that AI models can produce incorrect, biased, or fabricated information ("hallucinations") and that you use AI-generated content at your own risk.

6. Third-Party Services

Aight may facilitate your connection to third-party services through your OpenClaw instance, including but not limited to:

Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not a party to your agreements with these providers and assume no liability for their services, pricing, data handling, availability, or performance. You are solely responsible for reviewing and complying with third-party terms.

7. Skills and Extensions

Aight provides a marketplace interface for browsing and installing skills (extensions) on your OpenClaw instance. Skills are community-created, third-party software.

8. Intellectual Property

Our IP

The Aight application — including its design, code, user interface, graphics, logos, icons, and trademarks — is owned by Pangea Roads LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the App beyond a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose in accordance with these Terms.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create, send, or receive through Aight and your OpenClaw instance. Because we do not access, store, or process your content, we claim no rights to it.

OpenClaw

OpenClaw is a separate open-source project with its own licensing terms. Aight is a client for OpenClaw but is not part of the OpenClaw project. Your use of OpenClaw is governed by its own license.

9. Pricing

Aight is provided free of charge. There is no subscription fee, no in-app purchases, and no premium tier.

Your costs for using AI models (API usage fees from providers like Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.) and infrastructure (hosting, cloud services, etc.) are between you and those providers. We do not collect, process, or have any involvement in those payments.

We reserve the right to introduce paid features or tiers in the future, with reasonable advance notice. Any existing free features at the time of such change will be clearly communicated.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

We do not warrant that:

The App's security audit and skill scanning features are provided as informational tools only. They do not guarantee the security of your system and should not be relied upon as the sole measure of security for your infrastructure.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PANGEA ROADS LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE APP EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (WHICH, FOR A FREE APP, IS ZERO DOLLARS).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pangea Roads LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:

You may stop using Aight at any time by deleting the App from your device.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, for any reason, without notice. Given that Aight does not require an account and operates as a local client, termination would generally take the form of removing the App from the App Store or discontinuing development.

Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to: warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify users through the app or our website. Your continued use of Aight after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, stop using the App.

16. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.

Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days. Most concerns can be resolved this way.

Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or related to these Terms or the App shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall take place in New York, New York, or at another mutually agreed location.

Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than arbitration, both parties waive any right to a jury trial.

Exceptions

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in court for matters related to intellectual property rights or unauthorized access to the App.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pangea Roads LLC regarding your use of Aight and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

19. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by Pangea Roads LLC.

AI responses, behavior, and data handling are determined by the user's own instance configuration, model provider, and API agreements. Aight is not responsible for the output, accuracy, or behavior of any AI model or agent accessed through the app.
