Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Aight iOS application ("the App," "Aight") published by Pangea Roads LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Aight, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Aight Is (and Isn't)
Aight is a client application — a native iOS interface that operates in four independent modes:
OpenClaw mode — Connects to your self-hosted OpenClaw (or compatible) AI assistant instance. Aight is comparable to a web browser: we provide the client software; you provide and control the server, the AI models, and the infrastructure it runs on.
Claude Code mode — Connects to your Claude Code instance via the aight-channel-plugin (installed alongside Claude Code on your machine) and the aight-channel-relay. Claude Code is a product of Anthropic, PBC. Aight is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Anthropic.
Codex mode — Connects to your Codex CLI instance via the aight-codex-plugin and the aight-channel-relay. Codex CLI is a product of OpenAI, Inc. Aight is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to OpenAI.
Hermes mode — Connects to your self-hosted Hermes instance. Hermes is a separate open-source AI agent project. Aight is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Hermes project.
Aight does NOT:
- Provide, host, operate, or control any AI models, agents, or backend infrastructure.
- Generate, curate, moderate, or have any influence over AI responses or outputs.
- Store, process, transmit, or have access to your conversations, files, or personal data — with the limited exceptions described in our Privacy Policy.
- Act as an intermediary or proxy between you and your AI model providers.
You are solely responsible for: setting up and securing your OpenClaw or Claude Code instance; choosing and managing your AI model providers and API keys; all content generated by or sent to your AI assistant; and the security of your infrastructure, credentials, and network.
Infrastructure we operate: (a) a stateless push notification relay (push.aight.cool) for delivering notifications to your device (opt-in); (b) a channel relay (channels.aight.cool) for Channels mode WebSocket routing (used only in Channels mode); and (c) optional analytics and error reporting (opt-out via Settings → Preferences). All described in our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Aight. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission. By using Aight, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
3. Account and Access
Aight does not require you to create an account with Pangea Roads LLC.
In OpenClaw mode, the App connects directly to your OpenClaw instance using credentials you provide. In Channels mode, a 6-digit pairing code links your device to your Claude Code instance via the channel relay — no Pangea Roads LLC account is created.
For Aight Pro subscriptions, your Apple ID governs your subscription relationship with Apple. Subscription management, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple. RevenueCat processes subscription status on our behalf; neither Apple, RevenueCat, nor Pangea Roads LLC receive your payment card details directly.
You are responsible for keeping your gateway credentials, session tokens, and pairing codes secure, and for any activity that occurs through your connections via Aight.
If you enable push notifications, the @aight-cool/aight-utils plugin on your gateway handles device registration. Device tokens are stored on your own gateway, not on our servers.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Aight to:
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
- Generate, transmit, or facilitate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract the source code of the App, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security features of the App or the relays.
- Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair any server, network, or system.
- Distribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App without our express written consent.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity.
- Use the App to develop a competing product or service.
- Attempt to abuse the channel relay or push relay infrastructure, including circumventing rate limits.
5. AI-Generated Content — Disclaimer
Aight displays content generated by AI models running on your infrastructure. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for: the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any AI-generated content; any actions taken by AI agents connected through the App; any content that may be offensive, harmful, or inaccurate; or any consequences arising from your reliance on AI-generated content.
AI-generated content is not a substitute for professional advice. Do not rely on AI outputs for medical, legal, financial, or other professional decisions without independent verification from qualified professionals. You acknowledge that AI models can produce incorrect, biased, or fabricated information ("hallucinations") and that you use AI-generated content at your own risk.
6. Third-Party Services
Aight may facilitate your connection to third-party services, including but not limited to: AI model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, etc.); text-to-speech providers (ElevenLabs); skills and integrations from third-party sources; infrastructure providers (AWS, Hetzner, Tailscale); Cloudflare (relay infrastructure); Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM); Apple In-App Purchase (payment processing); RevenueCat (subscription management and receipt validation); Amplitude (analytics); and Sentry (error reporting).
Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not a party to your agreements with these providers and assume no liability for their services, data handling, availability, or performance.
7. Plugins, Skills, and Extensions
aight-utils (first-party plugin): We publish @aight-cool/aight-utils under the MIT license. This plugin runs on your OpenClaw gateway and is installed during onboarding. It is required for push notifications, the Today view, reminders, and other enhanced features. Core chat functionality works without it. The plugin is open source — you can inspect, audit, or fork it.
aight-channel-plugin (first-party plugin): We publish aight-channel-plugin under the Apache-2.0 license. This plugin runs alongside Claude Code on your machine and enables Claude Code mode. It is open source.
aight-codex-plugin (first-party plugin): We publish aight-codex-plugin under the Apache-2.0 license. This plugin runs alongside Codex CLI on your machine and enables Codex mode. It is open source.
Community skills: We do not author, audit, endorse, or guarantee any community skill. Skills execute on your OpenClaw instance with the permissions you grant them. Aight's optional "Skill Defender" security scanning is best-effort and does not guarantee security. You install and use community skills at your own risk.
8. Intellectual Property
Our IP
The Aight application — including its design, code, user interface, graphics, logos, and trademarks — is owned by Pangea Roads LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose.
Your Content
You retain full ownership of all content you create, send, or receive through Aight and your infrastructure. We claim no rights to it.
Third-Party Trademarks
Claude Code is a trademark of Anthropic, PBC. Codex CLI is a trademark of OpenAI, Inc. OpenClaw and Hermes are separate open-source projects. References to these products are descriptive and do not imply affiliation or endorsement.

The Aight iOS application itself is proprietary software owned by Pangea Roads LLC.
9. Pricing, Subscriptions, and Free Tier
Free Tier
Aight is available for free with the following limits:
OpenClaw mode: 1 team · 8 agents · 2 group chats
Channels mode (Claude Code & Codex): 2 channels · 1 channel group
Core chat functionality is available on the free tier.
Aight Pro
Aight Pro is available as a subscription through Apple In-App Purchase:
- Monthly: $4.99 per month
- Annual: $34.99 per year
- Free trial: 3 days for both plans
Aight Pro includes: Unlimited teams, agents, group chats, channels, and channel groups; premium themes; and any additional Pro features described in the App at the time of purchase.
Subscription terms: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds: All refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Pangea Roads LLC does not issue refunds directly.
Grandfathering (TestFlight Beta Users)
Users who created teams, agents, group chats, channels, or channel groups during the Aight TestFlight beta period (prior to March 29, 2026) will retain those existing resources permanently at no charge, even if they exceed the free tier limits. However, creating new resources beyond the free tier limits requires an active Aight Pro subscription.
Grandfathered access is provided as a courtesy to our early testers and applies only to resources that existed in your account as of the App Store launch date. It does not entitle you to unlimited future creation. Pangea Roads LLC reserves the right to modify grandfathering terms with reasonable notice.
API and Infrastructure Costs
Your costs for AI model API usage and self-hosted infrastructure remain between you and those providers. Pangea Roads LLC is not involved in those payments.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; that results obtained will be accurate or reliable; that defects will be corrected; or that the App will be compatible with your specific configuration or device. Security scanning features are informational tools only and do not guarantee the security of your system.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PANGEA ROADS LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill; damages resulting from AI-generated content; damages resulting from unauthorized access to your transmissions or data; damages resulting from actions taken by AI agents; damages resulting from third-party skills or integrations; or damages resulting from the security of your self-hosted infrastructure.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE APP EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNTS YOU PAID PANGEA ROADS LLC (VIA APPLE IN-APP PURCHASE) IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00).
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pangea Roads LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to: your use of the App; your use of your OpenClaw or Claude Code instance and connected services; content generated by AI models through your infrastructure; your violation of these Terms; your violation of any third-party rights or applicable laws; or your failure to secure your credentials or infrastructure.
13. App Store Transition (TestFlight)
Aight was previously distributed via Apple TestFlight for beta testing. TestFlight builds were expired on March 29, 2026. The app is now available for download on the App Store. We thank everyone who participated in the beta — your feedback shaped the product.
If you were a TestFlight user, your existing teams, agents, group chats, channels, and channel groups are preserved. See §9 (Grandfathering) for details.
14. Termination
You may stop using Aight at any time by deleting the App. Active Aight Pro subscriptions must be cancelled through Apple.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at any time. In the event we discontinue Aight Pro, subscribers will receive access through the end of their current paid period; Apple's policies govern any applicable refunds.
Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date and communicated through the app or website. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
16. Dispute Resolution
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of laws provisions.
Informal Resolution: Before filing formal proceedings, you agree to contact us and attempt informal resolution for at least thirty (30) days.
Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, in New York, New York or a mutually agreed location.
Class Action Waiver: Disputes will be conducted on an individual basis, not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
Exceptions: Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court for matters related to intellectual property or unauthorized access.
17. Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, it shall be limited to the minimum extent necessary, and remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pangea Roads LLC regarding your use of Aight.
19. No Waiver
Failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver. Any waiver must be in writing.
